What Word Cloud Generator Does
This word cloud generator turns any text into a word cloud the moment you paste it: the more often a word appears, the larger it is drawn. Common filler words such as “the”, “and” and “of” are left out by default so the cloud shows what the text is actually about, and a frequency table below lists every word with its exact count.
You can choose how many words to include, the shortest word length, a color scheme and how many words run vertically, and shuffle the layout until it looks right. Download the result as a PNG image for slides and documents, or as an SVG vector file that stays sharp at any size and can be edited in design software. Everything is processed in your browser — the text is not uploaded.

Formula Used by Word Cloud Generator
Word size
Font size = smallest + √((count − min) ÷ (max − min)) × (largest − smallest)
Worked example
Counts from 1 to 16; sizes from 12 to 76 px.
- A word used 16 times gets the largest size, 76 px
- A word used 5 times: √(4 ÷ 15) = 0.52
- 12 + 0.52 × 64
Result: About 45 px — the square root keeps mid-frequency words readable.

How to Read Your Result
What a word cloud can and cannot tell you
A cloud shows frequency, nothing more. “Not good” splits into “not” and “good”, and sarcasm or context is lost. It is a quick way to spot recurring themes, but for decisions use the frequency table and read representative responses.
Cleaning your text
Merge variants that should count as one word before generating — for example “customer” and “customers”, or “U.S.” and “US”. Remove names or words that appear in every response, such as the product name, so that they do not crowd out everything else.
Limitations & Accuracy Notes
- Words are counted as written; plurals and other word forms are not merged automatically.
- Only single words are counted, not phrases.
- When many words have similar counts, some of the least frequent may not fit and are left out; the page says how many.
